Another phase of the property portfolio previously occupied by Johnson Matthey. This refurbishment for Derwent London involved stripping out and relocating the existing cores and replacing the Cat A after a ‘back to brick’ demolition.
The design strategy was informed by limited ceiling heights and a mixed-mode servicing strategy, with a letting strategy angled towards new media tenants. Exposed services with suspended mesh luminaires, sand-blasted concrete columns and Equitone wall-cladding provided a balance of raw and refined finishes. The WCs featured fair-faced blockwork and bespoke taps mounted over mini Belfast sinks.
